Lithium vs. lead-acid
Lead-acid batteries have been used all over the world for more than 150 years. Although the technology has been used for this long, the time has come that lead-acid has been inferior towards newer technologies like lithium LiFePO4. There are multiple reasons as to why LiFePO4 batteries are simply more durable, affordable and safer. Lithium batteries have a much better power to weight ratio. They are lighter and smaller, making them more practical to use. Moreover, LiFePO4 batteries are able to discharge up to 100%, while lead-acid get stuck behind at a discharge of only 50%.
