The Victron Blue Smart Charger IP67 is a waterproof battery charger. This charger is very suitable for usage on a boat. The housing of this charger is made of aluminum. The Victron Blue Smart charger has a 5-step loading system for lead-acid batteries. For lithium batteries, there is a special 3-step loading system. The Victron Blue Power also contains a storage mode. While not using your battery, it will not be discharged and thus the storage mode will be activated. The driving voltage will be limited to 2,2V per cel. This will result in a longer lifetime of your battery. Once a week, the voltage will be automatically raised to absorption level to recharge the battery. The charger has built-in Bluetooth. On your smartphone, you can review the status of both the charger as the battery itself. Also, the settings are to be changed in the VictronConnect app. This app is free to download for iOS and Android phones. The LED-error indicators are there to let you know the status of the charger.
